The second pack of Brownies (424B) had a great time on Saturday getting stuck in to the first step to earn their gardening badge...propagating some sunflower seeds. It was literally all hands on deck (or in the bag of soil) as they say! The next four weeks will be interesting as we all wait eagerly for the shoots to appear and then each chart the growth in our plant journal/log book. We will also continue to learn about everything else 'green' over the next few weeks and hopefully learn that we can't dig a hole with a rake!
